Job Summary
Develop, plan, coordinate, and implement community events, both in-person and virtual, to support Luther Seminary’s community life; provide administrative support for the Student Affairs office including hospitality and email management; manage the Seminary’s Grocery Assistance Program via Instacart, respond to student questions, and handle order packing and pickup; attend weekly Community Life Fellow meetings and ensure confidentiality per FERPA; collaborate with other offices and student groups on events such as Orientation and Commencement; participation may include evenings/weekends; requires strong organizational, communication, and intercultural skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
Required Qualifications
- Be a currently enrolled student in good standing at Luther Seminary
- Developed a sense of responsibility and creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated event management and organizational skills
- Experience working in customer service environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including intercultural competence
- Ability to work with multiple deadlines and ask questions as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with Google Drive
- Ability to participate in some events outside normal business hours
