Job Summary
Manage customer repayment plans and process payments by contacting clients via telephone, email, and fax. Identify and manage credit risk within the collection portfolio while prioritizing calls based on objective criteria. Prepare accounts for placement with third-party legal or agency collections and send timely notifications to customers. Maintain positive customer relationships and support credit approvals through accurate account maintenance. This role requires strong analytical thinking, financial risk management skills, and the ability to handle objections in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates possess excellent time management skills to meet fixed deadlines and collaborate effectively as a team player.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Experience in collections
- Experience in sales
- Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel, including advanced functions and data handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
