Job Summary
Assist Shift Supervisor and Residential Manager in all duties related to the functioning of the residential program and coordinating activities for residents. Supervise clients in taking medications, manage client passes, and enforce program rules per the resident's manual. Mentor clients on boundaries and house operations, transport them to appointments and meetings, and run errands including donation pickups and grocery shopping. Collect urine samples after clients pay fees and drop them off to the monitoring program. Maintain a safe house environment, report emergencies immediately, and follow applicable emergency procedures. Work Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or a combination of education and experience
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Pre-employment criminal background check
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate understanding of special treatment needs of women with substance abuse in a residential treatment setting and show evidence of empathy, sensitivity and maturity
- Must demonstrate highest professional ethical standards and adhere to Chrysalis House Core Values and Code of Ethics
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in human services or education related field highly desirable
- CPR, First AID certified preferred
- Med Certification preferred
