Job Summary
Conduct clinical leadership and oversight for residential treatment services, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding staff. Provide training, supervision, and mentorship to 10-14 clinical staff, reviewing treatment plans and approving evidence-based practices. Develop staff schedules, lead weekly team meetings, and oversee crisis response plans and interventions. Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, coordinate supplementary services, and manage risk activities such as root cause analyses. This role supports program design and implementation within WestCare Foundation's mental health treatment and co-occurring disorders programs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Ability to be insured under WestCare's policy
- Advanced knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders
- Experience with evidence-based practices (EBPs) and clinical treatment modalities
- Competence in crisis assessment, intervention, and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and other clinical interventions relevant to residential treatment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing clinical staff
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to staff pursuing licensure or professional credentials
- Skill in evaluating staff performance, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans
- Experience in staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure adequate clinical coverage
- Minimum Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, childhood education, education counseling, and/or similar course of study
- Minimum of two (2) years of management experience within the last five (5) years
- MCAP
- Current Florida license as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Registered Intern
- A minimum of 40 hours per week
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
- Regular attendance
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
- Pre-employment physical
- Criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with the Department of Corrections
- Residential clinical experience
- Current Florida license as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
