Job Summary

Conduct daily clinical supervision and oversight of assigned clinicians and Qualified Mental Health Associates, ensuring adherence to Oregon Administrative Rules and evidence-based practices. Manage a caseload by delivering individual, group, and family counseling services while maintaining professional and timely documentation. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate new staff, resolving conflicts and enforcing personnel policies as needed. Participate in on-call rotations for crisis services and transport clients when required. Coordinate with prescribers, agencies, and the Facility Administrator to ensure continuity of service delivery and meet contractual requirements. Report cases of abuse or neglect, initiate holds, and manage civil commitment investigations. Assist with equine assisted therapy program operations and represent the organization in community meetings and committees.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited university in psychology, sociology, or other human services-related field
2 years of post-grad experience in the delivery of clinical services
Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
5 years of experience in the delivery of clinical services
3 years of experience being a supervisor in a related field
Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addictions and principles of counseling
Ability to use independent judgment including finely developed decision-making, planning, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to prepare and maintain detailed and accurate records
Ability to communicate and coordinate well with a diverse population including staff members, professional consultants, agencies, customers, and members of the general public
Ability to understand, interpret, and apply laws, regulations, and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency
Ability to learn and implement CCS procedures, regulations, and requirements with respect to procurement, budget, safety, operations, and organization
Self-starter and demonstrate the ability to supervise and assign work to subordinates
Ability to work effectively with other employees and the general public
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to handle highly confidential information
Adherence to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats
Ability to present and exchange information internally across teams and co-workers, and externally with clients and the public
Valid driver's license
Insurance for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, the community, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings
Pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380
Excellent typing skills
Knowledge of basic office software programs
Ability to effectively use office software
Valid driver's license for vehicle travel when working on behalf of the agency
