Residential Clinical Supervisor (52085)

Job Summary

Interview, hire, and onboard residential clinical staff in consultation with leadership. Provide training, supervision, and professional development for 10-14 staff members, including guidance for those pursuing licensure. Develop staff schedules, assign daily responsibilities, and conduct weekly meetings to review program operations and client care. Review and approve all client treatment plans, ensure fidelity of evidence-based practices, and oversee coordination of supplementary services including detox and transitional housing. Respond to and direct interventions in crisis situations, report unusual behaviors, and lead development of crisis response plans. Monitor compliance with WestCare policies and regulatory requirements, prepare for licensing agency reviews, and provide clinical reports on program outcomes to the Clinical Services Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance
  • Ability to be insured under WestCare's policy
  • Advanced knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders
  • Knowledge of co-occurring conditions
  • Experience with evidence-based practices (EBPs)
  • Experience with clinical treatment modalities
  • Competence in crisis assessment
  • Competence in intervention techniques
  • Competence in de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to review clinical documentation
  • Ability to approve treatment plans
  • Ability to approve progress notes
  • Ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation
  • Strong oral communication skills

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
