Residential Cleaning and Direct Care Staff needed in Hartford, CT for a part-time role in CHD’s Community Transitional Living Program. Responsibilities include cleaning clients’ apartments (kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms), maintaining common areas, modeling cleaning routines to promote independence, offering guidance, supporting daily living activities, and providing informal counseling with a person-centered approach. The schedule is evenings (5:00pm–9:00pm) on weekdays with a 20-hour work week. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle for work, and background/driving checks; experience with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring populations is preferred.
