Residential Children's Practitioner (L2 Days)

ResidentialChildren’s Practitioner Level 2 in Applewood, Norwich. Join a Norfolk County Council residential care team providing holistic care for young people aged 5-17 with disabilities and emotional/behavioral needs. Duties include supporting meaningful day-to-day activities, developing personal and practical independence skills, reporting and recording key aspects of care, and managing complex behaviours. You’ll work collaboratively with families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes, and you’re encouraged to work toward the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (paid for). The role requires reliability, good interpersonal and communication skills, and flexibility to cover day or night shifts and possibly sleep-ins.
