Job Summary
ResidentialChildren’s Practitioner Level 2 in Applewood, Norwich. Join a Norfolk County Council residential care team providing holistic care for young people aged 5-17 with disabilities and emotional/behavioral needs. Duties include supporting meaningful day-to-day activities, developing personal and practical independence skills, reporting and recording key aspects of care, and managing complex behaviours. You’ll work collaboratively with families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes, and you’re encouraged to work toward the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (paid for). The role requires reliability, good interpersonal and communication skills, and flexibility to cover day or night shifts and possibly sleep-ins. Salary is £32,061 to £33,699 per annum pro rata, plus benefits. Flexible working including remote and hybrid options depend on the job role and business need.
