Job Summary
Deliver early intervention and targeted support to children, young people, and families in homes and community settings. Plan and lead purposeful activities to build confidence and strengthen relationships, collaborating with schools and social workers to ensure coordinated support. Adapt to a rota that includes days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts; respond to a range of challenges and promote emotional wellbeing and resilience for those in care. Must be able to provide or arrange a car for duties and hold business-use vehicle insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with older children & young people in a community-based setting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the needs of children and the relevant legislation surrounding their care
- Excellent communication skills
- DBS disclosure
- Must be insured to drive for business use
