Job Summary
Residential CDL Driver responsible for safely operating a collection truck on assigned routes, performing pre-/post-operation inspections, complying with safety standards and regulations, loading waste, operating a compactor, and ensuring timely, courteous service to customers. Role requires Class B (or higher) CDL with air brakes endorsement, adherence to safety policies, completion of required reports (VCRs, productivity sheets), participation in the ReSOP program, and strong customer service and time-management skills. Must maintain operational readiness of the vehicle and follow company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement
- CDL – B or higher with air brakes endorsement
- ability to safely operate heavy truck and perform inspections
- DOT compliance knowledge
- ability to complete route/productivity reports
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to participate in safety programs
