Job Summary

Supervise program participants to ensure their physical, emotional, and psychological safety while implementing positive youth development principles. Facilitate daily one-on-one check-ins, family meetings, and crisis interventions to update individualized service plans and de-escalate situations. Conduct structured activities promoting the 8 C's of positive youth development, prepare nutritious meals, and assist with transportation to medical appointments. Maintain daily documentation, facility maintenance checks, and client case notes. Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, valid California driver's license, and criminal record clearance. Complete required certifications within 60 days of hire. Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance
  • Maintain a valid California driver's license
  • Active participation in the California DMV Pull Program
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Approval status as determined by the Channel Islands YMCA and/or its insurance carrier
  • Health Screening Report
  • Negative TB test

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in related field preferred
  • 2+ years' previous work-related experience preferred
