Residential CASAC Case Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate treatment plans for up to 15 clients in a women and children residential setting, developing initial service plans within 72 hours of admission. Prepare case records detailing goals and objectives, monitor medical and safety issues, and collect urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests. Provide motivation and support to residents while orienting them to residence rules and protocols. Participate in weekly case conferences, staff meetings, and team meetings to address client needs. Maintain medication schedules per program procedures and work cooperatively with the Program Manager. Requires a valid NYS driver's license, CASAC credential, and one year of substance abuse facility counseling experience. Full-time Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- A valid NYS driver license and clean driving record
- CASAC-T, CASAC-P or other CASAC Credential
- A minimum of an Associates Degree in Psychology, Social work or Chemical Dependency Counseling or a related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- At minimum of one (1) year counseling experience in a substance abuse facility
- Preferably in a residential program serving chemically dependent adults or related education/experience
- Required to work a flexible work schedule to maintain required staffing
- Job Type: Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
