Job Summary
The House Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the residential program by supervising, instructing, modeling and assisting Residential Support Staff, ensuring person-centered plans and meeting residents' medical, financial, and recreational needs while maintaining appropriate staff ratios and training. Coordinates with school, state workers, family, therapists, and residential placement to support individuals in gaining greater independence, applying Chrysalis Values (Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, Accountability). The role supports individuals in a housing setting, requires supervisory responsibilities and program documentation, and emphasizes safe, respectful, and effective care within an in-home/residential context in Carson City, NV.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- a high school diploma or GED
- experience in the disability field
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
- ability to prioritize work
- ability to complete program documentation accurately and timely
- flexible schedule to accommodate client office needs
- ability to balance personnel and program issues
- good public relations skills with external professionals and state employees
