Job Summary
Residential Care Associate I at Clear Vue RTH in Springfield, Oregon, supports adults living with mental illness with daily living activities, companionship, meals, transportation, and passive/passive medical care under RN oversight. Duties include assisting with ADLs/IADLs, meal preparation and cleanup, transporting clients to treatment services, medication administration as delegated, and maintaining compliant documentation. Training program provides paid training and CEUs toward QMHA certification; shift is Sunday through Thursday, 2:00pm–10:30pm (Full Time, Swing). The role takes place in a 5-bed, co-ed residential treatment home with ADA-accessible facilities; employment is within the AFSCME bargaining unit with wages per the collective bargaining agreement. Required Qualifications
- Caregiving and/or mental health experience preferred
- 18 years or older at time of hire (per OAR 309-035-0135)
- valid driver's license from state of residence or ability to obtain within 30 days
- ability to pass DHS criminal background check
- willingness to complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings
- ability to lift and transfer clients up to 40 pounds
- background in documentation of services and adherence to productivity standards
- training and supervision toward QMHA certification
