Job Summary
Residential Care Associate I provides caregiving and mental-health–support in Pine Ridge RTF, including personal care, daily living skills development, meal prep and food purchasing, medication administration under RN supervision, transporting clients to engage in treatment, and documenting services per productivity standards. Training pathway through MHACBO-accredited program to earn CEUs toward QMHA certification; schedule includes Full Time swing hours Sun-Wed 10:00pm–8:30am and Part Time night shifts Thu-Sat 10:00pm–8:30am, with additional language differential for bilingual/multilingual candidates. Emphasis on compassionate, equitable care within a non-profit behavioral health setting; teamwork within AFSCME bargaining unit; driving required with valid license and clean background check.
Required Qualifications
- Caregiving and/or mental health experience preferred
- valid driver's license from state of residence or ability to obtain within 30 days
- drive as an essential function
- ability to pass DHS background check
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings required
- 18 years or older at time of hire
- participation in training program for QMHA certification
