Job Summary
Provide a safe, therapeutic residential environment for residents and supervise nonclinical activities such as psychoeducational groups, transportation, and meals. Perform medication observation and monitoring, conduct urine toxicology screens, ensure safety and sanitation, maintain trauma-informed care practices, complete shift notes and group notes in the electronic client record, debrief with incoming staff, execute emergency procedures, and support compliance with agency and regulatory standards. Duties include supervising resident activities, maintaining confidentiality, coordinating with program staff, and ensuring the safety of residents and staff during shifts; requires L2 certification and adherence to agency protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License
- Two years of experience in the human services field, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services
