Job Summary
Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for residents through medication management, recreation, and facility management; monitor residents for safety; conduct urine toxicology; supervise meals and client activities; maintain facility cleanliness; document in electronic client records; transport residents as needed; enforce trauma-informed care and agency protocols; complete shift notes, group notes, and incident reports; ensure adherence to regulatory standards; obtain required L2 certification and NYS driver’s license; bring two years of relevant experience in human services; engage in relocation and growth opportunities within a supportive Catholic Charities program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in human services or related field preferred
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Two years of experience in the human services field, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services
- Knowledge of homeless client issues preferred
- Experience with conflict resolution techniques preferred
- Background check required
