Job Summary
Provide support for clients with substance and co-occurring disorders in a residential treatment setting by monitoring safety, assisting with daily therapeutic activities, and supporting recovery. Responsibilities include supervising and documenting client progress, conducting psychoeducational classes, enforcing program policies, transporting clients to appointments or events, monitoring medication schedules and vitals, performing drug screens and searches, maintaining client records, managing supplies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team while upholding HIPAA privacy and program standards. Requires flexibility for weekend/evening/holiday schedules and a strong emphasis on building rapport and ethical boundaries within a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Criminal Record Check
- Sexual Offender Registry check
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and adequate auto insurance
- Minimum one year personal recovery experience (if applicable)
- One year experience preference in substance use/co-occurring field
- Knowledge of the 12-Step recovery model (preferred)
