Job Summary
Manage financial aspects of housing by collecting rent from residents, ensuring bills are paid, and tracking payments for DSS applications. Coordinate purchasing for household supplies, office materials, and food, while maintaining resident demographic data and program reporting information. Assist with intake processes, including entering HMIS data, preparing resident files, and organizing client documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for IT coordination, troubleshooting basic issues, and facilitating internet setup. Order and manage essential unit stockings, support cleaning and turnover processes, and conduct regular room inspections. Collaborate on planning workshops, coordinating logistics for events, and identifying volunteer opportunities. Participate in on-call schedule rotation and agency meetings. Perform light lifting and cleaning tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in human service or related field
- At least 2 years' experience working in a residential setting
- Experience and ability to work with culturally diverse population
- Experience and ability to work with culturally diverse populations including individuals with low to moderate income
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office suite)
- Willingness to learn new software as needed
- Occasional evening or weekend hours
- Ability to work independently in a community setting informing supervisor of concerns
- Physical ability to perform light lifting and cleaning tasks as needed
- Must have reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Demonstrate compassionate and supportive attitude towards residents while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Demonstrate commitment to Agency Mission Statement
- Adheres to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations including, but not limited to, those governing confidentiality, privacy, program, billing and documentation standards
- Successful completion of a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in administrative or operational roles within a residential setting is preferred
