Job Summary
Provide supervision, support, and behavior management to youth in the Homeward Bound Shelter while overseeing resident and facility safety. Answer hotline calls for crisis counseling, prepare meals, engage youth in programming, and ensure daily cleanliness. Complete required shift documentation and collaborate with the Treatment Team regarding individual progress goals. Attend monthly employee meetings and training as necessary. This 1st shift role (7:30 AM – 11:00 PM, M-F) supports abused, neglected, and homeless youth ages 11-17 in building life skills, participating in school, and seeking employment. Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record for at least the past 5 years
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' experience working with at-risk adolescents
- Some college
- Residential experience
