Job Summary
Bevyhouse is seeking a hands-on Architectural Project Manager in Los Angeles (hybrid remote and in-person) to lead a design team through the end-to-end lifecycle of modular prefab homes. You will oversee small project teams to design, obtain approvals, coordinate with external architects and engineers, manage permitting with local/state departments, and ensure a smooth handoff to factory production and site installation. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients throughout the project lifecycle, developing architectural designs from schematics to detailed drawing sets for residential approvals and factory production, leading multi-disciplinary coordination (structural, civil, MEP, interior design), managing client communications, and driving process improvements for design quality and delivery. Requirements include 5-12 years of post-academic experience, experience SD through CA, strong technical design and detailing, MEP drawing development and cross-discipline coordination, code compliance expertise, professional client interaction, a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Revit proficiency, and high organization and attention to detail. Nice-to-haves include California licensure and modular construction experience. Salary range is $90,000 to $125,000. Flexible work-from-home options are available.
Required Qualifications
- 5-12 years of relevant post-academic professional experience
- Experience leading all phases of residential projects – from SD through CA
- Strong technical design and detailing skills
- Experience developing MEP drawings and coordinating across disciplines (structural, civil, MEP, fire sprinkler, interior design, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of code compliance and the residential permitting process
- Experience managing client interactions with professionalism and confidence
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Proficiency in Revit
- Highly organized and detail oriented
