Job Summary
Provide day-to-day operations support in a 175-bed men’s shelter, including client intake processing, bed assignments, daily census maintenance, and reporting to DHS; distribute clothing and personal items, manage client files and incident reports, perform searches as needed, oversee property returns, maintain CARES database, and participate in trainings; ensure safety by applying CPR/First Aid techniques and OSHA standards, enforce Fire Safety Plan, and support residents with substance-use histories; available for overtime, weekends, and holidays; collaborate with staff to create a warm, respectful environment and communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Fire Guard certification F-02 or Fire Safety Coordinator F-80
- Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other staff
- Excellent oral, writing, and listening skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
