Job Summary
Residential Aide Level-I at Phipps Neighborhoods’ SRO program responsible for front door security, supervising residents, processing preliminary intakes in the absence of an onsite counselor, preparing intake packages, conducting apartment tours, managing fire safety and emergency procedures, performing daily rounds and sign-in logs, and coordinating with EMS/FDNY/NYPD as needed, while maintaining incident reports and contributing to trainings and program operations.
Required Qualifications
- New York State Security Guard License
- 8hr. Security Guard certification
- 16 hr. Security Guard certification
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
- New York State Fire Guard License preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or previous experience
- Candidate must be computer literate
