Job Summary
Conduct direct client care including activities of daily living, safety support, and health and wellness monitoring for residents with significant mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Establish and maintain respectful relationships with people served while assisting program staff to connect clients to community resources for clinical treatment and vocational skills training. Participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment within the supervised setting of the Park Street Residence transitional program. Work on the Residential Behavioral Health Treatment care team to support recovery from mental illness, substance use, and homelessness.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
- Valid Connecticut Driver's License
- Regular and predictable attendance
