Job Summary
Monitor the area, provide resources to clients, and maintain a welcoming, safe, stable environment. Conduct hourly rounds within and outside the facility to ensure safety and security. Greet visitors, determine visit purposes, and escort them to destinations while circulating to preserve order and protect property. Report and document incidents, manage crisis interventions, and communicate with the on-call management team. Complete intakes, property searches, mail distribution, and food deliveries, serving meals and accepting logs. Transport clients to community appointments using the company vehicle and facilitate onsite laundry and shower resources. Provide relief support for 311 operations and complete required documentation including daily attendance, shift reports, and progress notes.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Associates degree preferred
- CPR and First Aid certifications a plus
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and/or mental health or substance use issues is a plus
- Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA driver's license with a good driving record, as defined by Breaking Ground is preferred
