Residential Aged Care Team Leader

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate allied health services across residential aged care facilities on the Sunshine Coast while maintaining a clinical caseload. Provide guidance to the regional team, support new graduates through onboarding, and coordinate rosters, leave coverage, and service requirements. Build collaborative relationships with facility managers and partners to deliver person-centred services, including assessments, mobility programs, and falls prevention. Monitor clinical documentation, reporting, and audits to ensure compliance with aged care legislation and quality standards. Facilitate team meetings, staff training, and professional development while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and service rollout. Travel between facilities as required to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Experience delivering allied health services within residential aged care
- Strong knowledge of the Australian aged care sector, including AN-ACC, the Aged Care Quality Standards, quality indicators and reporting requirements
- Confidence managing clinical priorities, documentation and service expectations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build positive working relationships with clinicians, facility teams and organisational leaders
- A collaborative, practical and solutions-focused leadership style
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A willingness to travel across the local region
- Previous formal leadership experience
- A current National Police Check
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Evidence of current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations where required by residential aged care facilities
- A current Australian driver licence
- Full Australian working rights
