Job Summary
Residential Advocate duties include supporting the recovery activities of clients and assisting with activities of daily living; de-escalating problem behaviors; providing supervision and redirection in client interactions; updating client records; completing administrative tasks; keeping the environment clean and safe; transporting clients as needed; ensuring building security; delivering treatment services as directed by the treatment team; serving as a positive role model to clients, children, and families; monitoring client whereabouts and activity; conducting room and vehicle searches; facilitating visiting hours; coaching parents in interactions with their children; administering medication per treatment plans and conducting drug tests; performing general duties as part of the center team to maintain high-quality service for clients; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to utilize and navigate computers, laptops, and/or tablets to complete daily documentation or communication through email, an Electronic Medical Records System, or other company used programs.
