Job Summary
Support recovery activities and assist clients with daily living while de-escalating problem behaviors and providing supervision. Update client records, complete administrative tasks, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Transport clients, secure the building, and conduct room and vehicle searches as needed. Monitor client whereabouts hourly, check cameras, and facilitate visiting hours. Administer medication, conduct drug tests, and coach parents. Wake clients for designated times and assist with housekeeping, kitchen duties, and light maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to utilize and navigate computers, laptops, and/or tablets, to complete daily documentation or communication through email, an Electronic Medical Records System, or other company used programs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of client rights according to Minnesota Statute Section 148F.165 and staff member responsibilities
- Experience working with chemical dependency and mental health disorders
- Current CPR, First-Aid, Shaken Baby and SIDS certification
