Job Summary
Provide nightly supervision and mentoring in a residential dorm setting for students, perform duties such as monitoring room and chore assignments, safety checks, and documentation of student progress; maintain reporting on student behavior and progress, coordinate with families for minor passes when warranted, serve as liaison between management and students, offer informal guidance on stress management and campus living, and respond to emergencies or incidents while maintaining confidentiality and safety in a high-traffic housing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months’ experience in education or similar field
- Valid Driver’s License
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to compose/write descriptive reports
- Ability to supervise and mentor students
- Knowledge of safety and confidentiality requirements
