Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision of students to ensure a safe, secure, and orderly dormitory environment. Schedule and oversee cleaning, submit repair requests, and maintain accurate logbooks and case notes. Provide support for cafeteria, laundry, and special activities while transporting students to events and enforcing evening schedules. Identify and assist students with special problems, conduct dormitory meetings, and train student leaders. Maintain close communication with counselors, instructors, and staff, and participate in mandatory PRH-mandated training and intramural programs. Adhere to all center policies, codes of conduct, and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
- Computer literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to provide guidance and support to students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of residential living and dormitory procedures and practices
- Minimum one year working with youth or related experience and/or training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a human services field such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or related fields
