Job Summary

Monitor assigned buildings and students, logging hourly headcounts and activities into the electronic system. Wake students, supervise morning routines, and accompany them to breakfast while enforcing conduct policies. Lead the "Morning Life Skills" curriculum and provide an accessible, supportive living environment for grades 1-12. Drive students off campus in emergencies and attend required meetings and professional development sessions. Work overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am Sunday through Friday, with physical demands including extensive walking, stair climbing, and carrying up to 20 pounds.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous child-care experience or supervision of children
  • A minimum high school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Sunday night-Friday morning during overnight hours between 11pm-7am
  • The 2026/2027 School Year is anticipated to begin on August 21, 2025
  • Residential Advisor Overnight staff are required to attend meetings, professional development sessions and related meetings that may be outside the regular work hours before and during the school year
  • Extensive walking, climbing stairs (up to four flights), standing, and sitting for long periods
  • Reaching, stretching, bending, stooping and other physical efforts required carrying up to 20 pounds
  • Manipulating buttons, zippers, shoelaces, etc. requires fine motor skills to assist student's dress
  • Responding quickly in emergencies
  • The ability to get in and out of a van or school bus as well as the ability to drive a van
