Job Summary
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned, utilizing effective strategies to model learning skills for diverse student populations. Create high levels of engagement through activities, community building, and synchronous live classroom sessions. This part-time role offers flexible campus and clinical-based scheduling of 10-15 hours per week, with competitive hourly rates ranging from $38.00 to $60.00. No prior teaching experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing, one year of clinical RN experience, and active licensure.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- Documented experience in Mental Health roles
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered
- Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- applicable faculty immunization documentation
