Job Summary
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program, utilizing effective strategies to model learning skills for diverse students. Create high engagement through activities, community building, and synchronous sessions using live classroom tools. Schedule is flexible, generally consisting of 10-15 hours per week across campus and off-site clinical partner locations. Compensation ranges from $38.00 to $60.00 per hour based on course types and confirmed schedule. Requires a Master's degree in Nursing, one-year clinical RN experience, and active licensure. Training is provided for those without prior teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- Documented experience in Mental Health roles
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered
- Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- applicable faculty immunization documentation
