Job Summary
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program, utilizing diverse strategies to model learning skills and engage a diverse student population through synchronous sessions. Create an environment conducive to learning by building community and using live classroom tools. Schedule is flexible, generally consisting of 10-15 hours per week, with competitive hourly rates based on course types. Training is provided for those without prior teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- Documented experience in Maternal-Child roles
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered
- Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- applicable faculty immunization documentation
