Job Summary
Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program, utilizing diverse strategies to engage students through synchronous live sessions and community building. Model appropriate learning skills within an environment conducive to a diverse student population, with courses assigned on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations. Maintain active RN licensure and CPR certification while providing instruction to the next generation of nurses. No prior teaching experience is necessary, as training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Nursing
- Documented experience in Maternal-Child roles
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN
- Proof of active RN licensure that has never been encumbered
- Official transcripts required for each degree earned from an accredited institution
- Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
- applicable faculty immunization documentation
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years clinical experience as an RN
