Job Summary
Oversee admissions, campus access, and safety functions within the Residential Placement & Stabilization program, serving as the on-site leader during the Access Director's absence. Manage daily referrals, intake processes, and visitor management while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and licensing standards. Provide leadership during behavioral crises, supervise Safe Crisis Management interventions, and coordinate transportation for medical and court appointments. Work the 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday shift with a required 24/7 backup on-call rotation. Support staff through post-incident coaching and ensure every youth receives compassionate, trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience working in a child-caring facility
- At least 60 college credit hours
- One year of experience in a child-caring facility
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable driving record
- Experience with and current certification in Safe Crises Management modalities
- Current Heartsaver CPR/First Aid
- Experience with and knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Participate in a required 24/7 backup on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling is preferred
