Job Summary
As a Resident Support Specialist Supervisor, you will manage Resident Support Specialist staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery within emergency housing programs. Responsibilities include supervising staff, conducting performance reviews, ensuring compliance with training, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also handle crisis interventions, conduct fire drills, and effectively communicate with external entities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), 2+ years in management or human services, excellent communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Overtime opportunities are available, with an hourly rate of $24.04.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years’ experience providing management services or experience in a human services field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic competency in MS Windows, MS Office, and internet usage
- Ability to tour properties, walk distances, climb stairs, etc.
- Ability to prioritize, make appropriate decisions and judgment calls
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, be highly organized, assume responsibility, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, be flexible, and maintain a high level of attention to details
- Effective time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus
