Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one support for residents of Far Rockaway regarding housing, education, employment, benefits, and financial matters. Pre-screen, assess, and develop service plans for clients while assisting with rent arrears, recertification packages, and federal emergency funds. Complete universal intake, enter client data into Salesforce, and attend case conferences and community resource meetings. Organize activities, recruit residents for programs, and maintain liaisons with local schools and service providers. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Bilingual Spanish required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associates in human service, sociology, psychology, or related field or two years or more experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
