Job Summary
Resident Services Manager supports the Community Manager with daily property operations, focusing on accounts receivable, resident needs, and service follow-up. Responsibilities include overseeing rental income deposits, bank reconciliation, account data accuracy, delinquency monitoring, processing evictions, negotiating payment plans, coordinating with collection agencies, month-end financial reporting, accounts payable assistance, and contributing to resident communications. The role also covers customer service for residents, parents, university personnel, and vendors; leasing and marketing support; general administration; staff coordination; facilities and risk control tasks; and ensuring compliance with policies and Fair Housing laws. Requires strong financial/organizational/analytical skills, excellent communication, and Entrata experience preferred; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred with high school diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree strongly preferred
- high school diploma required
- 2 years of experience in various positions in a residential rental community is preferred
- Entrata experience preferred
- Strong financial, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
- Must have excellent communication, management, and people skills
