Job Summary
Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) position responsible for assisting and empowering residents through education, vocation, and opportunities for self-improvement. Establishes partnerships with community-based social service providers and stakeholders to assess residents’ needs, coordinate non-clinical case management and referrals, monitor outcomes, and connect residents with social services. Develops strategic partnerships to deliver on-site programs in education, health and wellness, workforce development, financial literacy and stability, transportation, nutrition, personal care, and asset-building. Builds relationships with residents and families to understand needs, acts as liaison between residents, Property Management, and social-service providers, and maintains thorough documentation of demographics, issues, requests, referrals, and outcomes. Maintains outreach through newsletters, flyers, calls, and home visits; coordinates contracts with providers; ensures alignment with organizational mission and goals. Requires ability to work some weekends and evenings; strong written and verbal communication; knowledge of housing policies a plus; experience with elder housing and diverse populations preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, human services, public health, psychology, Gerontology, Developmental Disabilities, community development, or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in Senior Housing/Multi-Family housing environment or private non-profit social service organization preferred
- Experience with grants a plus
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Knowledge of HUD regulation a plus
- Experience engaging with residents from diverse backgrounds preferred
- Experience collaborating with partners and site teams to implement programs
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required
