Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, follow Individualized Service Plans, and assist residents with personal hygiene, toileting, and transfers. Prepare culinary schedules, manage menu planning, ensure food safety, and maintain kitchen inventory. Communicate resident status changes to supervisors, enforce infection control protocols, and train new staff on policies and procedures. Report unsafe conditions immediately and participate in mandatory in-service meetings. This safety-sensitive role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Required Qualifications
- One to three years of experience and/or training in healthcare and/or culinary services, or equivalent education
- One to three years of managerial experience, preferably in healthcare
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and use of hands
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, or smelling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Continuous interaction with residents and family members under stress
- Position is considered safety-sensitive
