Job Summary
Provide hands-on care to residents in The Bristal Assisted Living as a Resident Services Aide/HHA. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), escorting residents to meals and recreational activities, supporting residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being, and assisting in the Wellness area under the direction of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness. This on-site, full-time role includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs). Qualifications include CNA/PCA/HHA certification and English literacy; experience with geriatrics and dementia is a plus. Candidates should be reliable, caring, gentle in touch, and able to adapt to diverse residents while maintaining respect for the elderly and safety in daily routines.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
- Must be able to speak and read in English
- Previous experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
