Resident Services Aide FT 11pm to 7am

Job Summary
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), escort them to meals and recreational activities, and support their physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being. Provide hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner while helping out in the Wellness area to ensure resident safety and comfort. Follow all policies and procedures, adhering to instructions from the Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness. Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs). Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification required; experience with Alzheimer's and dementia is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
- Must be able to speak and read in English
- Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines
- Must always be reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor
- Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times
- Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
- Previous experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
- Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents
- Ability to adjust to different personality types and situations in positive ways
