Job Summary
Resident Services Aide/Home Health Aide providing hands-on care to residents in The Bristal Assisted Living. Responsibilities include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), escorting residents to meals and activities, supporting residents' physical, emotional and psycho-social wellbeing, assisting in Wellness area under supervision, and following policies and instructions from nursing leadership. Requires CNA/PCA/HHA certification, English literacy, and experience with geriatric populations; prior dementia/Alzheimer's exposure is a plus. Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs). Emphasizes reliability, compassion, calm demeanor, and respectful, dignified patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
- Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
- Must be able to speak and read in English
- Previous experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
