Job Summary
Resident Services Agent for Concert Properties in the GTA with responsibilities including coordinating the rental of vacant suites (processing rental applications, completing credit/reference checks, administering tenancy agreements), coordinating move-ins/outs with maintenance, conducting move-in/out inspections, handling resident repair requests and inquiries, maintaining positive tenant relations, performing supervisory/administration duties in the Community Manager's absence, liaising with contractors, processing rental income and banking procedures, issuing late notices and eviction notices, attending Landlord Tenant Board hearings, processing invoices, maintaining on-site records, administering fire and life safety procedures, and ensuring contractor performance meets standards. Required skills include knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Building Code, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety; strong communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi; leadership; multi-tasking; and a clean criminal/credit record. This role may require working at other rental office locations depending on workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of governing legislation such as Residential Tenancy Act; Personal Information Protection Act, Building Code, Fire Code and Occupational Health and Safety
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Yardi
- Leadership and coaching
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Clear criminal record and credit check
