Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial products including printing, packaging, robotics, and cash recycling systems. Perform regular predictive and preventive maintenance inspections while managing parts inventory and service calls. Diagnose electronic, mechanical, software, and system failures to determine cost-effective repairs that minimize customer downtime. Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to foster positive relationships and resolve conflicts. Provide on-call support up to seven days a week for emergency assistance. Requires hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with tools such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training
- 1+ years related industry/equipment experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience

- understanding of computer program functionality

- Associate degree preferred
- Ability to use standard and specialized hand, power and diagnostic tools and measuring equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DMM, gauges, etc.

- Ability to work in elevated environment up to twenty (20) feet

- Must be available for local travel time greater than 50% for field only
- Must be available for an on-call level of service up to seven (7) day/week twenty-four (24) hour/day for emergency customer assistance
- Must be available to respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals
- Must be able to diagnose electronic, mechanical, software and system failures
- Must be able to determine most cost-effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime
- Must be able to provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
- Must be able to schedule and perform regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections on equipment
- Must be able to provide support by managing parts inventory, customer service calls and preventative maintenance schedules
- Must be able to act as a liaison between the customer and other departments/functions of the company
- Must be able to install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products that include printing and packaging equipment, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, credit card attaching and processing systems, robotics and any other applicable third-party accessories attached as part of the system
- Must be able to foster positive customer relations and a high degree of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers
- Must be able to diagnose electronic, mechanical, software and system failures using established procedures provided by our highly rated service training department
