Resident Service Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate move-in orientations, scan documents into Onesite, and oversee pending tasks while ensuring new residents are contacted within seven days to report issues. Guide walk-in traffic, handle resident concerns with management, and check all communications within established time guidelines. Walk through move-in ready apartments and amenities daily to verify standards, then follow up with the service team until reported deficiencies are resolved. Interact with prospects to show the property, answer inquiries, and set up self-guided tours. Research reports, prepare correspondence, and utilize CRM to manage resident relations and service requests.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Associate degree in business administration or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of office experience
- Minimum of Two years' experience in residential properties, rental operations, hotel or related business operations
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license unless otherwise noted
- Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
- Ability to apply policies and procedures to solve everyday issues
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform a variety of support assignments requiring some exercise of independent judgment
- Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with community and rental property operations
- Must know and follow the Fair Housing laws
- Must be detail orientated
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

- Normal range of eyesight
- Regular and consistent attendance on the job
- Ability to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the community and amenities
- Ability to withstand temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape that may be unpleasant and/or hazardous
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend shifts
- Ability to lift files or paper weighting up to 30 pounds
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment
