Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health measures for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and providers to plan, evaluate, and resolve care concerns while delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This role supports the Good Samaritan Society's century-long commitment to quality senior housing and services in a Christian environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
