Resident Project Representative II - Aviation - Southeast Region

Job Summary
Monitor and document daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory standards for airfield and landside projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Prepare daily reports, field notes, photo documentation, and quantity tracking while coordinating construction meetings with airport staff, contractors, and project designers. Review contractor pay applications, submittals, and Requests for Information, verify quality control measures, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines, and assist with materials testing coordination. Communicate field observations and issues clearly to the design team and support project closeout efforts including punch lists, final inspections, and record drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years of field inspection experience involving construction contracts
- Associate degree in engineering or construction-related field and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and 2+ years of civil engineering, construction, or inspection experience
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Must be capable of effective oral and written communication
- Work in a team-oriented manner
- Possess analytical and organizational skills
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way
