Job Summary
Monitor daily construction activities and document field notes, photos, and quantity tracking for assigned airfield and landside projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Prepare daily reports, coordinate with airport staff and contractors, and review pay applications, submittals, and RFIs to ensure compliance with contract documents and regulatory standards. Verify quality control measures, safety protocols, and project timelines while assisting with materials testing and supporting closeout efforts including punch lists and final inspections. Requires 3+ years of field inspection experience or a relevant degree with practical experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of field inspection experience involving construction contracts
- Associate degree in engineering or construction-related field and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and 1 year of civil engineering, construction, or inspection experience
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Must be capable of effective oral and written communication
- work in a team-oriented manner
